Service, price and warranty

How fast can you reach my location?

Our average arrival time is 25 minutes anywhere in Dubai, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Do you come to all areas in Dubai?

Yes — from Dubai Marina and Downtown to Arabian Ranches and Silicon Oasis, we cover all of Dubai.

What does a car battery cost?

Most cars fall between AED 250 and AED 700 fitted. Start-stop and premium vehicles needing AGM, Gel or Lithium run from AED 650 up to AED 3,000. Every price includes VAT, free installation at your location, a free battery check and old battery disposal.

How long does a car battery last in the UAE?

Typically 18 to 30 months. Sustained heat is the main killer — a battery that would last four years in a cooler climate often will not reach three here. We fit batteries with up to 24 months warranty.

Do you test the battery before replacing it?

Always. Our technician tests the battery and the charging system first. If it only needs a charge, or the alternator is the real problem, we tell you instead of selling you a battery.

Which cars do you cover?

Every make on UAE roads — Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi, Ford and Chevrolet, through to BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Range Rover, including start-stop and hybrid systems.

Do you provide warranty on batteries?

Yes, every battery we install comes with a warranty of up to 24 months, depending on the brand.

Is the installation really free?

Absolutely. Installation at your location, a free battery check, and old battery disposal are all included.

What types of batteries do you offer?

We stock 100% genuine batteries from top brands including Amaron, Varta, Bosch, ACDelco, Exide, Solite, Tudor and Panasonic.

Do you accept card payments?

Yes, we accept cash, card and online payments — whichever is most convenient for you.

Car Battery Replacement in Dubai, Fitted Where You Are Parked

How long does a car battery replacement take?

The swap itself is usually a short job once the technician is at the car. Cars with the battery under a seat or in the boot, and cars that need the new battery registered, take a little longer.

Do I need to register or code the new battery?

Many cars with a battery sensor or start-stop system need to be told a new battery has been fitted, including most recent BMW, Mini, Audi, Volkswagen, Land Rover and Ford models. We carry the diagnostic equipment to do this at your location.

Can you replace the battery in a basement or tower car park?

Yes. Tell us the building, the parking level and the bay number, and let security know a technician is coming. The work is done at the car, so nothing needs towing out.

What happens to my old battery?

We take it away at no charge and send it for recycling. Lead-acid batteries are hazardous waste and should never go in general rubbish.

Will I lose my radio presets and settings?

We use a memory keeper during the swap where the car's design allows it, so the clock, radio and seat settings are normally kept.

Can you fit a battery I bought elsewhere?

Yes. We fit customer-supplied batteries too, including cars that need the new battery coded in. Message us the battery details first so we can confirm it suits the car.

Car Jump Start Service in Dubai, 24/7

Can a completely dead battery be jump started?

Usually, yes, if it is only discharged. A battery with an internal fault, a shorted cell or physical damage will not take a boost and needs replacing. Our technician checks before connecting anything.

How long should I drive after a jump start?

Long enough for the alternator to put meaningful charge back, which means a continuous drive rather than a few minutes around the block. A deeply discharged battery may still need a proper charge or a test afterwards.

Is jump starting bad for my car?

Done correctly with proper equipment, no. The risk comes from reversed clamps, poor connections and voltage spikes when using another vehicle. That is the reason we use protected booster packs.

Can you jump start a car in basement parking?

Yes. A portable booster pack goes wherever a technician can walk, so tight basements and upper parking levels are not a problem. Tell us the level and bay number.

My car started after a jump but died again. What now?

Either the battery can no longer hold charge or the alternator is not charging it. Both show up on a battery and charging system test, which we carry out at your location.

Can you jump start automatic, hybrid and luxury cars?

Yes. Automatic cars cannot be push started, so a booster is the only safe option. Hybrids are boosted through their 12V system at the points the manufacturer specifies.

Free Car Battery and Charging System Test in Dubai

Is the battery test really free?

Yes. The battery and charging system check is free with every call-out and there is no obligation to buy a battery afterwards.

How often should I test my car battery in the UAE?

Twice a year is a sensible habit, and before summer in particular. Heat does its damage quietly, and a test catches a weak battery before it leaves you stranded.

Can you tell if it is the battery or the alternator?

Yes. The test measures the battery on its own and the charging voltage with the engine running, so the two faults can be told apart.

My battery shows 12 volts. Is it fine?

Not necessarily. Around 12.0V at rest means the battery is largely discharged, and even a battery showing a healthy voltage can fail under load. A proper test measures cranking performance as well.

Do you test AGM and start-stop batteries?

Yes. Each type is assessed against different values, so the tester is set to the battery's technology before the reading is taken.

AGM and EFB Battery Replacement for Start-Stop Cars in Dubai

Can I fit a normal battery in a start-stop car to save money?

It will fit and the car will start, but the battery will wear out quickly and the start-stop system is likely to stop working. A car built with AGM must get AGM; a car built with EFB needs EFB or AGM.

Can I upgrade from EFB to AGM?

Yes. AGM is a valid upgrade for a car that came with EFB, and it copes better with heat and heavy electrical use. The car should be coded for the new battery type.

Why has my start-stop system stopped working?

The most common reason is a battery that no longer has enough charge or health for the car to risk switching the engine off. A battery test will confirm it.

Do BMW and Mercedes really need special batteries?

Most recent models do. They use AGM batteries with a monitoring sensor, and BMW in particular needs every new battery registered with the car. Many Mercedes models also have a separate auxiliary battery.

How long does an AGM battery last in Dubai?

Heat shortens the life of every lead-acid battery, AGM included, though AGM tolerates it better than a standard battery. How long yours lasts depends on how the car is driven and parked. We fit AGM batteries with 18 to 24 months warranty.

Car Battery Price in Dubai: What a Replacement Costs

How much does car battery replacement cost in Dubai?

Most cars fall between AED 250 and AED 700 fitted. Start-stop and premium vehicles needing AGM, Gel or Lithium run from AED 650 up to AED 3,000. Every price includes VAT, free installation at your location, a free battery check and old battery disposal.

How much is an AGM battery in Dubai?

Our AGM batteries range from AED 650 to AED 1,200 fitted, with 18 to 24 months warranty. The exact price depends on the capacity your car needs and the brand.

Is installation included in the price?

Yes. Installation at your location, the battery check and old battery disposal are all included.

Can I pay for a car battery in installments?

Yes. You can split the payment with Tabby or Tamara, or pay by cash, card or online.

Why are batteries for BMW, Mercedes and Range Rover more expensive?

These cars use large AGM batteries built for start-stop systems and heavy electrical loads, and the new battery usually has to be registered with the car. Both the battery and the job are more involved.

How do I get an exact price for my car?

Send your make, model and year on WhatsApp, or call. A photo of the label on your current battery lets us match it precisely.

Car Won't Start in Dubai? How to Tell if It Is the Battery

What should I do if my car won't start because of a dead battery?

Switch off all electrical loads, make sure the car is safely parked, and call or WhatsApp us with your location. A technician will jump start the car, test the battery and charging system, and replace the battery on the spot if it has failed.

How do I know if it is the battery or the alternator?

If the car starts with a jump and keeps running but will not restart later, suspect the battery. If the battery warning light is on while driving, or the car dies while running, suspect the alternator. A charging system test confirms which.

Can a dead car battery be recharged instead of replaced?

If it is only discharged, yes. A battery that has been deeply discharged several times, is old, or has an internal fault will not recover and needs replacing.

Why does my car click but not start?

Rapid clicking is the starter solenoid trying to engage without enough current. In most cases the battery is discharged or worn out. A single loud click with bright lights points to the starter instead.

My car won't start after I came back from holiday. Is the battery dead?

Probably discharged, not necessarily finished. Modern cars draw a small current even when parked, and weeks of that can flatten a battery. A jump start and a test will show whether it has recovered.

Can I push start an automatic car?

No. Automatic cars cannot be push started. A booster pack or a jump start is the only way to start one with a flat battery.

How Long Does a Car Battery Last in Dubai's Heat?

Why do car batteries die faster in Dubai?

High temperatures accelerate grid corrosion, water loss and self-discharge inside the battery. Short air-conditioned trips and cars left parked for weeks add to it.

Does heat or cold damage a battery more?

Heat does the damage. Cold only reveals it, because a cold engine needs more current to start. In the UAE the damage and the failure both tend to arrive in or just after summer.

Is an AGM battery better for hot climates?

AGM tolerates heat and deep cycling better than a standard flooded battery. It is required for cars built with it and is a worthwhile upgrade for cars that came with EFB.

How can I stop my battery dying while I am away for the summer?

Ask someone to drive the car for 20 to 30 minutes every week or two, or connect a maintenance charger suited to the battery type. Have the battery tested before you leave.

How often should I check my battery in Dubai?

Twice a year, and always before summer. A free battery health check catches a weak battery before it leaves you stranded.

AGM vs EFB vs Lead-Acid: Which Battery Does Your Car Need?

What is the difference between AGM and EFB batteries?

EFB is a reinforced flooded battery for entry-level start-stop cars. AGM holds its electrolyte in glass-fibre mats, is sealed, and handles deeper cycling and heavier electrical loads. AGM is the higher specification of the two.

Can I replace an AGM battery with a standard battery?

No. A car designed around AGM will wear out a standard battery quickly and is likely to disable start-stop and show warnings. Replace AGM with AGM.

Can I replace an EFB battery with AGM?

Yes. AGM is an accepted upgrade from EFB. The car should be coded for the new battery type where it has a battery management system.

Do I need an AGM battery if my car has no start-stop?

Not usually. A calcium battery of the correct size is the right choice for most cars without start-stop. AGM is worth considering if the car carries heavy extra electrical equipment.

Is a calcium battery the same as a lead-acid battery?

It is a type of lead-acid battery. The grids are alloyed with calcium, which reduces water loss and self-discharge. Most maintenance-free batteries sold today are calcium batteries.

Which battery type is best for a Land Cruiser or Patrol?

It depends on the model year and equipment. Most take a large-capacity calcium battery; vehicles with start-stop or heavy accessories need AGM. Send us the model and year and we will confirm.

Car Battery Brands in the UAE Compared: How to Choose

Which car battery brand is best in the UAE?

The best brand is the one that makes the correct type and size for your car and comes with a real warranty. For European and start-stop cars that usually means Varta or Bosch; for Japanese and Korean cars, Amaron or Solite; for GM vehicles, ACDelco.

Is Amaron or Varta better?

They suit different cars. Amaron has a strong range of JIS-size batteries for Japanese and Korean vehicles. Varta is strongest in DIN sizes and in AGM and EFB for European and start-stop cars.

Which battery brands do you stock?

We stock genuine batteries from Bosch, Varta, Amaron, ACDelco, Exide, Solite, Fiamm, Duracell, Energizer and others. The full list is on the battery brands page.

Does a more expensive brand last longer in the heat?

Technology matters more than brand. An AGM battery from any reputable maker tolerates heat better than a standard flooded battery from a premium one. Within the same technology, look at the warranty.

Are the batteries you fit original?

Yes. We fit genuine, sealed batteries only, with no refurbished or relabelled stock, and every battery is covered by warranty.

Dead Battery in Basement or Tower Parking: What to Do

Can a technician reach my car in basement or tower parking?

Yes. A battery technician works on foot with portable equipment, so basement height limits and tight ramps are not an obstacle. We need the building, level and bay number, and access through security.

Do I need to tow my car out of the basement to change the battery?

No. The battery is tested, jump started or replaced in the parking bay.

My car is locked and the battery is dead. How do I get in?

Most key fobs contain a mechanical key blade that opens the driver's door. Your owner's manual shows where the hidden lock is.

The battery is in the boot and the boot will not open. What now?

Cars with a boot-mounted battery have jump points under the bonnet for exactly this situation. The technician powers the car through those, which lets the boot open.

Can you replace a battery in a mall car park?

Yes. Tell us the mall, the entrance you used, the level and the zone or pillar number.

Car Battery Terms Explained: A Plain-English Glossary

What does CCA mean on a car battery?

Cold cranking amps: the current the battery can deliver for 30 seconds at -18°C while holding a minimum voltage. It measures starting power. Fit a battery with at least the CCA your car was specified with.

What does Ah mean on a battery?

Amp-hours, a measure of how much energy the battery stores. Fit at least the capacity the car was built with.

Is CCA important in a hot country like the UAE?

Yes. The engine needs less current to start in warm weather, but CCA is still the standard way to rate a battery, and a falling measured CCA is how a tester detects that a battery is wearing out.

What is the difference between DIN and JIS batteries?

They are different size standards. DIN is European, with recessed terminals and a common width. JIS is Japanese, with its own case sizes and codes. The two are not generally interchangeable in the same tray.

What is battery registration?

On cars with a battery management system, registration tells the car a new battery has been fitted so it charges it correctly. Skipping it can shorten the new battery's life.

Flat Tyre in Dubai: Can It Be Repaired, or Do You Need Mobile Tyre Replacement?

Can a punctured tyre be repaired?

A small puncture in the central tread area may be repairable. A technician needs to inspect both the outside and inside of the tyre before confirming that a repair is safe.

When does a flat tyre need replacing instead of repairing?

A puncture in the shoulder or sidewall is generally a reason to replace the tyre. Replacement may also be necessary if the tyre has a bulge, a significant cut, or internal damage from being driven while flat.

Can I keep driving on a flat tyre?

Avoid it. Driving at very low pressure can damage the tyre internally, even when the original puncture looks small from the outside.

My tyre keeps losing pressure but I cannot see a puncture. What should I do?

Have it inspected even if no nail or hole is visible. The valve or wheel could also be the source of the leak.

What should I share when requesting mobile tyre service?

Your location, car make and model, and tyre size, which is usually on the tyre's sidewall or on the vehicle information sticker inside the driver's door. A photo of the damaged tyre also helps, although it cannot replace an in-person inspection.
