Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information 800Battery collects when you use this website or book a mobile car battery service, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

800Battery is a mobile car battery replacement service operating in Dubai and across the United Arab Emirates. We test, deliver and fit car batteries at the customer’s location. Throughout this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to 800Battery, and “you” refers to the person using this website or requesting our service.

We are the controller of the personal data described below. If you have any question about this policy, use the contact details at the end of the page.

2. Information you give us

This website has no sign-up, no customer account and no online checkout. We only receive information you choose to give us when you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email in order to arrange a job:

  • Your name and the phone number you call or message from.
  • The location of your vehicle, including a map pin or address you share with us so the technician can reach you.
  • Vehicle details such as make, model, year and the battery currently fitted.
  • Details of the work carried out, the battery supplied and the warranty issued against it.
  • Payment details you give the technician on site. We do not take card details through this website.

3. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records limited technical information when you visit, through cookies and similar technologies:

  • Your IP address, approximate region, browser type, device type and operating system.
  • The pages you view, the time of your visit, and the page or advertisement that referred you.
  • Whether you clicked a call or WhatsApp button, which is recorded as a conversion event.

4. Cookies and Google advertising

We advertise on Google. This site loads Google’s global site tag (gtag.js) for Google Ads conversion tracking. When you arrive from one of our advertisements, Google sets cookies that let us see that the click led to a phone call or WhatsApp message, and that let Google measure and improve ad performance. This is aggregated reporting: we do not receive your identity from Google.

Google may also use these cookies to show you our ads again on other sites (remarketing) and to personalise the ads you see, in line with your own Google account settings.

You can control this. Google’s advertising settings at adssettings.google.com let you turn off ad personalisation, Google’s partner-site notice at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites explains how data is used, and your browser settings let you block or delete cookies entirely. Blocking cookies does not stop you from using this site or calling us.

5. How we use your information

We use the information above only for these purposes:

  • To reach you, quote the job, dispatch a technician and complete the battery replacement.
  • To register and honour the warranty on the battery we supply.
  • To keep records of jobs, invoices and payments as required for tax and accounting.
  • To measure which advertisements and pages generate enquiries, and to improve the site.
  • To respond to complaints and to comply with a legal obligation or a lawful request from a competent authority.

6. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Depending on the situation, we rely on your consent (given when you contact us or accept cookies), on the necessity of processing to perform the service you asked for, on our legitimate interest in running and measuring our business, or on compliance with a legal obligation.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

7. Who we share information with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share only what is necessary, with:

  • Our technicians and dispatch staff, so they can find you and complete the job.
  • Google, for advertising measurement as described above.
  • Meta Platforms, if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp — your message is handled under WhatsApp’s own privacy terms.
  • Our hosting, telephony and accounting providers, acting on our instructions.
  • Battery suppliers or manufacturers, where a warranty claim has to be processed.
  • Government authorities, courts or regulators, where the law requires it.

8. International transfers

Some of our service providers, including Google and Meta, process data on servers outside the UAE. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers apply under their own contractual and data-protection commitments.

9. How long we keep it

Job and warranty records are kept for as long as the warranty on the battery runs, and afterwards for the period required by UAE tax and commercial law. Enquiry messages that do not lead to a job are deleted once they are no longer needed. Website analytics and advertising data are retained according to Google’s own retention settings.

10. Your rights

Subject to UAE law, you may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy, correct information that is wrong or out of date, delete information we no longer need to keep, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you previously gave.

Write to us using the contact details below and we will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.

11. Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and access to job and customer records is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold.

12. Children

Our service is intended for vehicle owners and drivers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Other websites

This site links to third-party sites, including battery manufacturers and mapping services. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service, our advertising or the law changes. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the date at the top always shows the current version.
