Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 21 August 2026

These terms govern your use of this website and the mobile car battery service provided by 800Battery. By browsing the site or booking a job with us, you accept them.

1. About these terms

This website is operated by 800Battery, a mobile car battery replacement service based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to 800Battery; “you” refers to the person using the site or requesting our service.

If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the site or book our service.

2. The service we provide

We supply, test and fit car batteries at your location, and provide related roadside help such as jump starts, battery testing and charging-system checks. We are a mobile service: there is no workshop for you to visit, and we do not carry out general vehicle repairs.

We operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, subject to technician availability. Arrival times depend on distance, traffic, weather and how many jobs are open at that moment.

3. Bookings and arrival times

A booking is made when you call or message us and we confirm the job. Any arrival time we quote — including the estimates shown on this website — is a good-faith estimate and not a contractual guarantee. We will tell you as soon as we can if a technician is going to be delayed.

We may decline or cancel a job where the location is unsafe or inaccessible, where the vehicle cannot be worked on safely, or where the fault is outside what we can fix at the roadside.

4. Prices, quotes and payment

Prices shown on this website are indicative ranges in UAE dirhams (AED) and depend on the battery your vehicle needs. The technician confirms the final price with you on site, before any work starts. You are free to decline at that point.

Unless stated otherwise, prices include fitting and applicable VAT. Payment is due on completion of the work, by the methods the technician accepts. We may change published prices at any time; the price you were quoted for a confirmed job does not change.

5. Your old battery

Unless you tell the technician you want to keep it, we take the old battery away for recycling through licensed channels. Where a trade-in allowance applies, it is reflected in the price quoted to you on site.

6. Warranty

Batteries we supply carry a manufacturer warranty of up to 24 months. The exact period depends on the brand and model fitted and is stated on the warranty card issued to you at the time of the job. Keep that card: it is your proof of cover.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects in the battery. It does not cover:

  • Damage from an accident, fire, flood, impact or physical abuse.
  • Failure caused by a fault elsewhere in the vehicle, such as a defective alternator, a parasitic drain or incorrect wiring.
  • Deep discharge caused by leaving lights or accessories on, or by leaving the vehicle standing for long periods.
  • Batteries removed and refitted by anyone other than us, or altered in any way.
  • Normal decline in capacity through age and use.

7. Warranty claims

To make a claim, contact us with your warranty card details. We will test the battery and the vehicle’s charging system. If the battery is found to be defective within the warranty period, it is replaced or repaired under the manufacturer’s terms. If testing shows the battery is sound and the fault lies elsewhere in the vehicle, a call-out and testing charge may apply.

8. Your responsibilities

When you book a job with us, you confirm that:

  • You own the vehicle or are authorised to have work carried out on it.
  • The location, vehicle and contact details you give us are accurate.
  • The vehicle is parked somewhere the technician can reach and work safely, and is legally parked.
  • You have told us about anything unusual — an aftermarket alarm, a modified electrical system, a battery in an unusual location — that affects the job.

9. Vehicle electronics

Disconnecting a battery can reset systems that store settings, such as the clock, radio presets, seat memory, window and sunroof calibration, and some engine or transmission adaptations. Where possible we use a memory saver, but this cannot be guaranteed on every vehicle. We are not liable for the loss of stored settings, for security or radio codes you do not hold, or for pre-existing faults in the vehicle that appear after the work.

10. Cancellation

You can cancel a booking at no cost at any time before a technician has been dispatched. If the technician has already reached your location and the job is cancelled, or the vehicle turns out not to need a battery, a call-out and testing charge may apply. We will tell you the amount before charging it.

11. Limitation of liability

We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care, and nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under UAE law.

Subject to that, our total liability arising from any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including missed appointments or flights, loss of income, hire-car costs or loss of business — arising from a delay, a cancellation or a battery failure.

12. Website content

Prices, arrival estimates, specifications, brand availability and vehicle compatibility information on this site are provided for guidance and may change without notice. We do our best to keep them accurate, but they do not form part of any contract until confirmed with you directly.

The text, images, layout and design of this site belong to us and may not be copied or republished without permission. Manufacturer names, logos and trade marks shown on the site are the property of their respective owners and appear only to identify the products we supply.

13. Acceptable use

You may use this site for the lawful purpose of learning about and requesting our service. You must not attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it at scale, or use it to send unsolicited or fraudulent communications.

14. Links to other sites

Where we link to a third-party website, we do so for information only. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products or terms.

15. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you book is the version that applies to that job. The date at the top shows when the terms were last revised.

17. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.
